AP Credit and Placement Policy
Nearly three-quarters of all states, including Connecticut, have implemented statewide or systemwide AP credit policies, which typically require all public higher education institutions to award credit for AP Exam scores of 3 or higher. Note: The UConn system is not included in this policy.

Connecticut fully funds AP Exams for all low-income public school students.
