AP Credit and Placement Policy

Nearly three-quarters of all states, including Ohio, have implemented statewide or systemwide AP credit policies, which typically require all public higher education institutions to award credit for AP Exam scores of 3 or higher.

SAT Policies and Use by Colleges

Nearly all colleges in this state consider SAT or ACT scores in admission for students who choose to submit them, and many also use them to award scholarships and place students in appropriate first-year courses.
