Actionable Insights That Advance Student Success
Leverage SAT Suite insights to monitor progress, guide classroom instruction, and broaden access to advanced coursework.
Put Data to Work
The SAT Suite of Assessments provides an objective measure of the core skills needed for any postsecondary pathway. Aligned to state standards, the assessments are widely used as a state and federal accountability tool. All assessments in the suite—which includes the SAT, PSAT/NMSQT, PSAT 10, and PSAT 8/9—provide valuable actionable insights for state, district, and school leaders. Through the K–12 Reporting Portal, educators can easily access and analyze dynamic score data and tools that support year-over-year monitoring, from broad trends to individual student performance.
Increase Access to AP
Give more students the chance to take at least one AP course to improve college outcomes and build essential career skills. AP Potential™ is a free online tool that generates rosters of students ready for AP coursework and likely to score a 3 or higher on an AP Exam based on their result from any SAT Suite assessment. Research shows that students who take AP courses and exams are more likely to attend college and graduate on time.
Help Students Plan Their Future
With the BigFuture® School mobile app, students who take SAT Suite assessments on a school day can access their scores quickly and obtain customized college and career guidance. The Career Insights Snapshot in each student’s score report shows a list of growing careers in their state that connect to their assessment score. BigFuture School also provides visibility into students’ planning actions. In the K–12 Reporting Portal, educators can see how students are using the app and can help them use its features to their best advantage.
“We want to address all needs of students and identify ways for all of our students to be successful. By using the SAT Suite of Assessments, we’re able to adapt instructional supports and use disaggregated data to determine if there are gaps in learning across the different student demographics.”
