Support Every Student

Harmony Science Academy in Houston, Tex., is a public charter school for grades 9–12. It is part of the statewide Harmony Public Schools system of 60 public charter schools that provide rigorous, high-quality STEM-focused education.

Principal Harun Bozdag shares, "There's often a gap in knowledge acceptability between state testing and SAT testing, and the SAT Suite allows our school to gauge real college-level abilities. For example, a student who may pass the State of Texas Assessments of Academic Readiness may not do well on the SAT. Then we know they may not be ready for college-level classes and need to increase rigor and support."

Data from the SAT Suite of Assessments enables the school to track individual student performance over time, helping to identify those who are ready for advanced learning as well as those who may benefit from additional support.
